Your role will involve direct engagement with school-aged students, providing comprehensive therapy tailored to individual needs. You'll conduct evaluations, create and implement intervention plans, collaborate actively with educators and families, and participate in IEP meetings to foster strong support systems. Maintaining up-to-date documentation and progress notes, you'll ensure seamless communication and compliance with educational standards.

Desired background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • California SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • ASHA CCC-SLP credential preferred
  • Open to Clinical Fellows and experienced SLPs alike
  • Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial, but not required
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy for a diverse caseload
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment goals
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, classroom teachers, and families
  • Support students’ progress through regular reporting and engagement with IEP processes
  • Provide both direct and consultative services based on student needs
