Provide impactful speech-language services in a dynamic educational setting for the upcoming school year. This onsite, part-time contract role focuses on supporting students in grades 7 through 12, beginning in August for the 2026/2027 academic term.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status
- Experience with school-based caseloads, particularly with adolescents and upper-grade students
- Strong understanding of IEP process and compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Organizational abilities to manage scheduling, documentation, and therapy planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades 7-12
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to student needs, both individual and group
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, administration, and families to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and ongoing progress notes in accordance with district and state requirements
- Offer consultation and support for staff regarding speech-language interventions and classroom strategies
