School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Aptos, California

Take your expertise in speech-language pathology to a dynamic school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year! Two contract positions are currently available for highly motivated Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary school students. These full-time opportunities offer a structured schedule and allow you to work within an elementary single-site or manage a diverse caseload blending Resource Specialist Program (RSP) and Special Day Classes (SDC).

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
• Commitment to supporting students with individualized education plans
• Dedication to fostering positive, inclusive learning environments

Role Overview:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs
• Support both general education and special education populations (RSP & SDC)
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and services
• Engage proactively with families to promote student growth and success
• Participate in school meetings and contribute to a collaborative special education team atmosphere
• Hours are 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday, beginning August 19th, 2026 through June 11th, 2027
