Step into an exciting opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology professional supporting students in a vibrant educational community for the 2026-2027 school year! This contract position welcomes two Speech-Language Pathologists to join a dedicated team, working full-time from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, beginning August 19th, 2026, through June 11th, 2027.
You’ll have the chance to focus on either a single-site elementary caseload or an engaging mix of Resource Specialist Program (RSP) and Special Day Class (SDC) students. Collaborate with committed educators and help transform lives through the power of communication.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to effectively manage time and caseload
- Passion for supporting students with diverse speech and language needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team activities
