Desired Background and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work effectively with elementary and middle school-age children
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of K-8 students, delivering direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Assess and document student progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and legal standards
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Supervise and mentor the on-site SLPA, ensuring coordinated therapeutic delivery
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and multidisciplinary discussions
