Make a meaningful impact every day by supporting students with unique communication needs in a dedicated self-contained special education program. In this contract position, you’ll collaborate with a welcoming, multidisciplinary team and provide skilled speech and language services to a diverse student population, ages 3 to 22. Working with a manageable caseload of 18 students, you’ll have the capacity to develop individualized plans and foster real progress in every learner.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Active state licensure and credentials to provide speech services in educational settings
  • Experience working with pediatrics, particularly within special education and self-contained programs
  • Proficiency in teletherapy modalities as well as in-person interventions
  • Strong clinical skills in speech, language, and augmentative/alternative communication
  • Collaborative and compassionate approach to supporting students, families, and school staff

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized speech-language treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students according to IEP goals
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive student support
  • Maintain clear, thorough documentation and progress reports
  • Communicate regularly with families and teachers to support therapeutic carryover
  • Adapt strategies to meet a range of student abilities and learning styles
  • Utilize both traditional and teletherapy delivery methods when appropriate
