Open positions include:
- Lake in the Hills, IL: Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to 16 students, approximately 15 hours per week.
- Morton Grove, IL: Support 9 students, with a weekly commitment of 5-7 hours.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Disorders
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid and current licensure to practice as an SLP in the state of Illinois (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and provide therapy for students with varying communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and allied professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation on services and student progress
- Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Offer guidance and strategies to staff and parents for carryover of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings as necessary
