Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Holds or actively pursuing ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Strong background working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based or teletherapy setting
  • Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs for students with speech and language needs
  • Proficient in both in-person and virtual/teletherapy service delivery
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments, direct therapy, and progress monitoring for a diverse student caseload
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with families, teachers, and other school professionals
  • Share and coordinate duties with a fellow SLP to ensure a balanced workload and effective service delivery
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services in compliance with school and district requirements
  • Create engaging, individualized therapy plans promoting student success and participation
  • Offer consultation and support to staff and families regarding communication strategies
