Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP License required
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous school-based SLP experience, ideally with both elementary and middle school populations
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Commitment to delivering direct, in-person services throughout the assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a diverse student caseload
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all federal and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Monitor and report student progress, modifying interventions as needed
This is a contract, full-time role with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week. You will be based onsite, playing a key role within the school community and impacting students’ communication development during a pivotal time.
