Experience a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with a Pre K caseload from October through March. This full-time role is designed for those who are passionate about helping early childhood students develop their communication skills in a school-based setting near Arlington Heights, IL.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure as an SLP
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication development in early childhood
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized intervention planning

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech, language, and communication therapy for Pre K students
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with a variety of communication disorders
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
  • Educate school staff and caregivers about strategies to support communication development
