Experience a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with a Pre K caseload from October through March. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication development in early childhood
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized intervention planning
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication therapy for Pre K students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with a variety of communication disorders
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
- Educate school staff and caregivers about strategies to support communication development
