Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a long-term substitute Speech-Language Pathologist from August 31st through December 23rd. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, with hours from 7:50 am to 2:30 pm, allowing you to work a school-based schedule while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure for practicing SLP in the local school system
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on caseload in accordance with their IEPs
  • Conduct speech/language assessments and evaluations as needed
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and related service providers to support student success
  • Develop, update, and document progress on IEP goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate records and timely reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
