As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2024-2025 school year near Arlington, TX, you'll work alongside a collaborative team of educators dedicated to ensuring every learner achieves their fullest potential.
Utilize your expertise in pediatric and school-based settings, whether you’re an experienced SLP-CCC or a Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY), to support students through both in-person and teletherapy services. Through assessment, diagnosis, and intervention, you’ll empower students to succeed academically and socially.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent credentials
- Current Texas State License (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based SLP roles
- Comfortable providing both direct and teletherapy services
- Previous school experience a plus but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging with students, parents, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, counselors, and families
- Deliver both direct and indirect services according to student needs and IEP requirements
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations
