As a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2024-2025 school year near Arlington, TX, you'll work alongside a collaborative team of educators dedicated to ensuring every learner achieves their fullest potential.

Utilize your expertise in pediatric and school-based settings, whether you’re an experienced SLP-CCC or a Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY), to support students through both in-person and teletherapy services. Through assessment, diagnosis, and intervention, you’ll empower students to succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent credentials
  • Current Texas State License (or eligibility to obtain)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
  • Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based SLP roles
  • Comfortable providing both direct and teletherapy services
  • Previous school experience a plus but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging with students, parents, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, counselors, and families
  • Deliver both direct and indirect services according to student needs and IEP requirements
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations
