A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a school-based assignment from September through May, offering vital therapy and assessments for students receiving service plans. This opportunity is located near Arlington, TX and involves working with a single elementary campus.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- At least one year of independent professional practice; CFs are not eligible for this position
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting promptly, if not already current in the state system
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to eligible students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide thorough documentation and reporting
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Manage a part-time caseload efficiently over 20 hours per week
- Provide services on-site for one designated elementary school
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and district policies
