Desired qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as an SLP in educational settings
  • Experience working with school-aged children, ideally ranging from kindergarten through 7th grade
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to create individualized goals and adapt therapeutic approaches for a variety of student needs

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of 19 students, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, evaluate, and document student progress accurately and in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Develop and implement engaging sessions using evidence-based practices
  • Maintain timely and thorough communication with caregivers and educational staff
