Your expertise will support a caseload of 65 elementary learners at Cheney Hills Elementary, where collaboration and growth are celebrated every day.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Texas SLP licensure or eligibility
  • Bilingual Spanish fluency (required)
  • Prior experience supporting elementary-aged students (PK-5) preferred
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
  • Culturally responsive approach to student support

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students on a caseload of 65
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for varied communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student progress
  • Complete documentation and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and consultations as needed
  • Support students across diverse backgrounds while fostering an inclusive learning environment

Role Details:

  • Immediate start; assignment through May 27th
  • Full-time hours, Monday–Friday, 7:45 am to 3:45 pm (37.5 hours/week)
  • Elementary (PK-5) population in a welcoming, student-centered school environment
