Grades 9 - 12 K-5 School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Arlington, Texas

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Hold an active state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Preferred experience working with school-aged children in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
• Strong evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and compliance standards

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in kindergarten through 12th grade
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to support student IEP goals within classroom settings
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Provide both direct and consultative therapy services, adapting strategies to meet a range of student needs
• Educate students, staff, and families about best practices in speech and language development
• Monitor and track student progress toward IEP goals, adjusting approaches as needed
