Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license for the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working with students in grades K-12
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Comfortable conducting assessments, direct therapy, and consultation services
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from grades K-12
- Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with other school professionals and families
- Provide direct therapy services individually or in small groups, adapting methods to meet diverse needs
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, goals, and progress
- Engage in regular communication with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote students’ success
- Participate in IEP meetings, intervention planning, and school-based professional development activities
