Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold an active state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Preferred experience working with school-aged children in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Strong evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and compliance standards
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to support student IEP goals within classroom settings
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy services, adapting strategies to meet a range of student needs
- Educate students, staff, and families about best practices in speech and language development
- Monitor and track student progress toward IEP goals, adjusting approaches as needed
