Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) in Texas.
  • Experience with school-aged children and IEP development preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, staff, and families.
  • Flexibility, positivity, and dedication to cultivating student progress.
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants encouraged to apply.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students’ communication abilities and create targeted therapy plans.
  • Deliver direct and consultative SLP services according to students’ IEP goals.
  • Monitor, document, and report progress using a variety of assessment tools.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes.
  • Attend IEP meetings and support special education compliance standards.
  • Provide guidance and resources to school staff as needed.
