Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Active SLP licensure in the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
- Experience working with school-aged children, from mild to moderate caseloads
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach with staff, students, and families
- Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing evidence-based interventions
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students with speech, language, and communication disorders using standardized assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver therapy services in individual and group settings, both pull-out and push-in
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and educational staff to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely student records and documentation per school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, faculty meetings, and professional development
