School Speech Language Pathologist - Arlington, Virginia

Key Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
• Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and implement targeted therapy plans
• Provide direct therapy and support for students with a range of speech and language needs
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
• Collaborate with teaching staff and families to support students’ communication skills across settings
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning and problem-solving
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your clinical skills and strategies
