Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
  • Active SLP licensure in the state of Virginia (or ability to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
  • Experience working with school-aged children, from mild to moderate caseloads
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach with staff, students, and families
  • Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing evidence-based interventions

Core Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students with speech, language, and communication disorders using standardized assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Deliver therapy services in individual and group settings, both pull-out and push-in
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and educational staff to ensure student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely student records and documentation per school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, faculty meetings, and professional development
