Key qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid SLP-CCC credentials
  • Licensure or eligibility for SLP licensure in Vermont
  • Prior experience in school-based settings (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Passionate about collaborating with fellow educators, families, and support staff

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and goals in accordance with IEP requirements
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, administrators, and families
  • Conduct screenings and evaluate students to determine their need for services
  • Document and report progress regularly, maintaining accurate student records
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP review sessions
  • Offer guidance and resources to educators and parents to support students’ progress
