Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or strong candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Ability to support elementary-aged children with diverse speech and language needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students to determine speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student IEPs
  • Provide direct therapy services to elementary-aged students in both group and one-on-one settings
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student learning and communication
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer expertise regarding speech and language development
