Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) or strong candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience working in a school setting preferred
- Ability to support elementary-aged children with diverse speech and language needs
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students to determine speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student IEPs
- Provide direct therapy services to elementary-aged students in both group and one-on-one settings
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student learning and communication
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer expertise regarding speech and language development
