Embark on your next professional adventure as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist supporting vibrant elementary school communities. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic split schedule—three days per week at one campus and two at another—providing ample opportunities for meaningful impact among mild to moderate caseloads. Currently, you'll serve approximately 55 elementary students, contributing directly to their communication development and educational success.
New graduates working under Clinical Fellowship (CF) status are welcome, and as part of this placement, you’ll benefit from a dedicated, provided supervisor for ongoing mentorship. There's no requirement to oversee a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), enabling you to focus fully on direct therapy and collaboration with educational teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid CA state SLP license or eligibility
- Passion and skill in supporting elementary-age children
- Ability to work effectively across multiple locations
- Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
- Open to Clinical Fellows; supervisor provided
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver direct therapy to students with mild to moderate speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
- Support students’ social and academic success within the elementary school environment
