School Speech Language Pathologist - Arroyo Seco, NM

An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-12 students. This contract position starts as soon as possible and runs through May 21, 2027, offering you the chance to work with a diverse student population while helping them develop essential communication skills.

Utilize your expertise as an SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY in a supportive school environment. You’ll collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to deliver top-notch therapy services tailored to each student’s needs. Work full-time at 37.5 hours per week, providing intervention, assessment, and progress monitoring to help students achieve their goals.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA, or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Prior school-based experience is highly valued
• Ability to create individualized treatment plans and conduct assessments for students across K-12
• Strong communication and collaborative skills with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
• Develop IEP goals, maintain accurate records, and monitor student progress
• Conduct evaluations and implement interventions tailored to individual needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with other professionals
