Dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed to support students in an elementary and a pre-kindergarten setting within a school environment in Arvada, CO. These contract roles offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's communication skills through tailored speech therapy services.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language therapy to elementary and pre-kindergarten students based on individual needs.
- Collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Conducting assessments, tracking progress, and reporting on student development.
- Delivering services in person within the school setting.
Two positions are available:
- Elementary School SLP: 15 hours per week, spread over two days.
- Pre-Kindergarten SLP: 11.25 hours per week, approximately 1.5 days per week.
Qualifications:
- Active licensure with the Colorado Department of Education (CDE).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working in school settings and pediatric populations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families.
