This contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist eager to work 20 hours per week and help children reach their communication and academic potential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience with school-based therapy preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments, individualized therapy, and intervention for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s unique strengths and challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress and generalization of communication skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on adaptive strategies and accommodations
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and compliance records
- Deliver services in compliance with district and state guidelines, ensuring each child receives quality, evidence-based support
