Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
  • Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Previous experience working as an SLP, preferably in pediatric or school-based settings
  • Strong collaboration skills and a passion for working with diverse student populations

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to PreK students, targeting key communication and language development goals
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain detailed progress documentation
  • Consult with teachers, families, and professionals to create supportive, inclusive learning environments
  • Participate in meetings and professional development to continually enhance skillset and student support
  • Provide education and resources to caregivers and staff regarding communication disorders and evidence-based strategies
