A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Denver area, specifically serving the Arvada, CO community. This full-time contract position supports students at Arapahoe Ridge Elementary within the Adams 12 School District from ASAP through May 22, 2026. The role is ideal for those passionate about making a difference in school settings and is open to candidates seeking Clinical Fellowship positions, although Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not eligible for this assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and interventions to school-aged children.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support communication development across diverse student populations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure.
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification.
- Experience or interest in working within a school setting.
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload (35+ hours per week).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Open to Clinical Fellowship candidates eager to gain valuable school-based experience.
