Seeking a skilled professional to provide speech-language pathology services in a school-based setting for the remainder of the school year. This contract opportunity is situated near Arvada, CO, with flexibility for either part-time or full-time hours—tailored to match your preference and schedule. The position is onsite only and designed for someone who thrives in dynamic educational environments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Active CDE licensure to be in place before starting
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish is a must
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Willingness to mentor Clinical Fellows (CFs) appreciated
- Ability to travel between multiple sites, as this is an itinerant assignment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, supporting individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to advance student communication goals
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech-language needs, ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines
- Provide both preventative and intervention services, adapting approaches to diverse student populations
- Travel between assigned schools to meet student and program needs within the district
