Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity serving students in the Arvada, CO area as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This year-long assignment runs from July 27, 2026, to May 21, 2027, with an immediate need for both a full-year position and a leave of absence (LOA) coverage at two school sites. You’ll be a vital part of multidisciplinary teams, primarily supporting an intensive preschool classroom while also providing coverage for a K-8 school.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current SLP-CCC or SLP-CF credentials
  • Active Colorado SLP license and Colorado Department of Education certification
  • Experience with IEP development and the ability to conduct assessments and provide direct services
  • Familiarity monitoring student progress toward measurable goals
  • Preference will be extended to professionals with ELL training or ESL/LDE (Linguistically Diverse Education) Endorsement
  • Prior experience in schools or with pediatric populations is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students in an intensive preschool classroom (full-year role)
  • Provide LOA coverage for K-8 students as needed
  • Complete thorough assessments, implement effective interventions, and manage documentation in compliance with IEPs
  • Supervise and mentor SLPAs as needed
  • Regularly track and report progress toward student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support educational success

This contract requires on-site presence, supporting a single assigned school for the full-year placement and another for the LOA period, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
