Open Roles:

  • Position #1: 0.6 FTE (24 hours/week, schedule flexible), from 8/4 to 12/18/26 (potential extension), serving elementary students.
  • Position #2: 0.6 FTE (24 hours/week, schedule flexible), from 8/4 to 5/21/27, working with high school students.
  • Position #3: 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week, schedule flexible), from 8/4 to 5/21/27, serving both elementary sites.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA CCC required.
  • Must hold or be actively obtaining a valid CDE license. No SLPA’s accepted.
  • Minimum of one year of classroom experience in a school-based setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnostics, and evidence-based intervention for K-12 students.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for different age groups and learning profiles.
  • Resume must include a copy of CDE license or COOL; applications without this documentation will not be reviewed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to students with diverse needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive speech/language evaluations and write detailed reports.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with IEP teams.
  • Communicate progress and strategies effectively with families, educators, and support staff.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
