Make an impact in education by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment near Arvada, CO. In this role, you'll serve at Centaurus and Justice High Schools, working closely with students and educational staff. The assignment spans from August 4 to May 21, 2027, with a part-time schedule of 24 hours per week (.6 FTE) to be determined by school leadership. The district requires onsite service only, ensuring you’re hands-on with your school community every step of the way.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) SLP license or proof of current application in progress (required; resumes not reviewed without documentation)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) mandatory
- Minimum of one year classroom-based SLP experience
- SLPA applicants cannot be considered for this opportunity
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct assessment and therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and meet compliance with all district and state regulations
- Participate in meetings with education teams and provide consultative support when needed
