Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active certificate of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or SLP-CFY in progress
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings highly valued
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Colorado
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individual and group, tailored to students’ academic goals
- Document progress and maintain clear records in compliance with school and legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide consultation and resources for teachers and families to support students’ communicative development
