Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or SLP-CFY credentials
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and students
- Ability to adapt services to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students based on individualized education plans
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to student progress and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
- Engage in ongoing professional development as needed
