School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Arvada, Colorado

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
• Open to experienced SLPAs as well
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate with general and special education staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Track student progress, maintain meticulous records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers and families
• Serve students across a caseload to be determined, ensuring individualized attention and care
