Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Open to experienced SLPAs as well
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track student progress, maintain meticulous records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers and families
- Serve students across a caseload to be determined, ensuring individualized attention and care
