This contract position offers part-time hours—14-15 per week across two full days—serving students at Vega Collegiate Academy. You’ll have the chance to directly impact a mild to moderate caseload, supporting growth and communication skills for students ages birth through 21.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution required
- Current Colorado Department of Education (DOE) Certification
- Active Colorado SLP License; will also accept licenses as Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist (ages birth through 21)
- Previous experience in school settings highly valued
- Ability to successfully complete district fingerprinting and background check
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with mild to moderate needs
- Design, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans based on student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to support students’ communication development and educational success
- Complete regular progress reports and maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Contribute insights and strategies during IEP meetings and professional discussions
