Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • A Master’s degree (or higher) from an accredited university in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Colorado Department of Education Certification
  • Valid Colorado SLP License; accepted license types include Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, and Speech Therapist (for birth-21)
  • Experience with school-aged youth strongly preferred
  • Flexibility to support a mild to moderate caseload, with specific assignments and schools determined upon placement
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate with school staff and families
  • Successful completion of a district background check

Your Responsibilities May Include:

  • Providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Working with a diverse caseload of students, likely spanning mild to moderate needs
  • Developing targeted therapy plans tailored to individual education goals
  • Engaging collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation and progress reporting as required by district and state guidelines
  • Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to annual goal-setting
  • Supporting inclusive classroom practices through consultation and resource sharing
