School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Arvada, Colorado

Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school setting near Arvada, Colorado. This contract opportunity runs from January 7, 2026, to May 28, 2027, offering full-time hours (37.5 per week) and the rewarding chance to serve diverse student populations.

You’ll support students’ communication and language needs while collaborating with a passionate education team. Site assignments are tentatively as follows: one position at Laredo Child Development Center (5 days/week), and another split between Vista PEAK Exploratory and Aurora Highlands (2.5 days each per week), both covering for planned provider leaves.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required for SLP)
• Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider license with Speech Pathologist Endorsement (required)
• Experience in school-based settings, including work with preschool through middle school populations, is highly desirable
• Strong skills in assessment, therapy, documentation, and collaboration with teachers and families
• Background check and fingerprint clearance required by the district for onboarding

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and support staff
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation aligned with district and state standards
• Engage families in the intervention process and support student progress
