As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you’ll be instrumental in empowering children to succeed both academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP-CCC credentials and active state licensure
- Experience providing speech and language therapy in school settings preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Passion for working with diverse student populations
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each child’s needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy to address a variety of communication disorders in both individual and group settings
- Serve as a resource for educators and families, providing guidance for in-class supports and home strategies
- Maintain timely, precise records in accordance with school and clinic policies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school activities
