Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff, providing vital services that help young learners achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state license (NC) or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience with elementary school caseloads preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and school teams
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and manage required documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative services, both in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and comply with all reporting requirements
  • Participate in IEP and other school-based meetings as a valued team member
  • Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and evidence-based interventions
