Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- SLP-CCC credentials preferred (consideration for SLP-CFs as well)
- Experience or background in schools, especially with elementary-aged children
- Open to SLPAs, SLP-CFs, and professionals seeking travel or hybrid arrangements
- Adept at collaborating with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload (specific assignments to be determined)
- Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments
- Support IEP teams by attending meetings and developing goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals and strategies into classroom activities
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
- Offer consultative support for families and provide resources to support student success
