Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current SLP license and certification required
- Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels is highly valued
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to create individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Commitment to compliance with all state and federal regulations governing school-based speech-language services
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs
- Develop and implement engaging Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in groups, targeting a range of communication challenges
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to facilitate student success
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adjust strategies for maximum effectiveness
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert insights to multidisciplinary teams
