A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a meaningful impact in a school setting. This position involves travel within the Asheville, NC area, offering a chance to work with diverse student populations and address a wide range of speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes
- Implement evidence-based practices in therapy sessions and adjust strategies as necessary
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure or certification appropriate for the state
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric speech and language therapy
- Experience working in school environments preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel to multiple school locations within the Asheville area
