Provide vital speech and language therapy services for a dedicated group of students in a school environment, located near Ashland, MS. Enjoy a manageable caseload and a schedule that offers work-life balance, providing services approximately 2-3 hours per week.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • State licensure to practice as an SLP.
  • Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students on the caseload.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver therapy in line with student IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all evaluations, sessions, and outcomes.
  • Participate in student IEP meetings as required and provide input for goals and progress.
  • Offer support and guidance to classroom staff for implementing communication strategies.
