Your responsibilities will include individual and group therapy sessions, collaborating with teachers and families, maintaining documentation, and developing personalized treatment plans. Ideal candidates will have:
- A Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current Nebraska state license
- CCC-SLP certification or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations, especially in a school setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
Key duties include:
- Assessing and diagnosing students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Creating and implementing therapy plans tailored to individual students
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize student learning
- Supporting students in developing effective social and workplace communication skills
- Maintaining timely, accurate records and progress reports
