Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly desired
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students pre-K through 12th grade
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group formats
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and administration to ensure student success
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and required reports
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student outcomes and strategies for reinforcement at home
