Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, families, and staff
- Ability to assess and develop individualized treatment plans for a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students pre-K through 12th grade
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group formats
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and administration to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and required reports
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student outcomes and strategies for reinforcement at home
