A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support district-wide, site-based programs serving students ranging from elementary to high school levels. This position focuses on the MAPS PLUS programs, which include three elementary classes, one middle school class, and one high school class. You’ll work collaboratively with educational teams to foster student growth and maximize communication potential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting working with diverse student populations
  • Familiarity with IEP procedures, documentation, and case management
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet individual student needs across multiple age groups

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students in MAPS PLUS programs
  • Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure coordinated care and effective support for each student
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings across all program classrooms
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP team meetings and contribute to the development of multidisciplinary plans
