Step into a contract role this fall as a Speech Language Pathologist, providing vital support to elementary students. Work full-time, five days per week, from November 9th through December 18th, in a collaborative educational setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathology license (SLP-CCC or SLP-CF considered)
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, preferably at the elementary level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and document progress
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver direct therapy services to an assigned elementary caseload, supporting students’ communication, speech, and language development
- Complete speech and language evaluations in accordance with school policies and state guidelines
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation of evaluations, treatment, and progress notes
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and families to support ongoing student success
