Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong assessment, therapy, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication needs for students
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually and in groups
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Stay current with best practices, interventions, and compliance requirements in school-based speech-language pathology
