A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-27 school year in Douglasville, GA, located just 20 minutes west of Atlanta. This onsite, contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing a dynamic school-based environment to serve students with speech and language needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and engage in ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
- Experience or interest in school-based speech therapy services
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to working onsite during the school year; remote work is not applicable
