A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic school setting near Atlanta, GA. This contract position spans the 2026-27 school year and offers an engaging, onsite role at a K-12 school located in Douglasville, GA, approximately 20 minutes west of downtown Atlanta.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success initiatives
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential; candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or School SLP certification preferred
- Candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in a school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively onsite and engage with school community
