Ideal candidates bring a range of skills including experience as an SLP in schools, healthcare, or pediatric settings and comfort with both in-person and teletherapy services. Your ability to conduct thorough evaluations, maintain clear documentation, and navigate Medicaid billing will ensure ongoing student support and compliance. A Georgia Teaching Certificate and current certification as a school-based SLP are required.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Active Georgia Teaching Certificate
- Certified School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required)
- Experience in pediatric, school, and/or teletherapy settings
- Strong capability in evaluation, progress monitoring, and report writing
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 55 children
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, create treatment plans, and document progress
- Attend meetings with educators, families, and other service providers
- Complete detailed reports and all necessary paperwork in a timely manner
- Ensure full compliance with Medicaid billing processes and school policies
Position Details:
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
