Grades K - 5 Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Atlanta, GA

Support student success in an engaging elementary school setting by providing speech-language pathology services for grades K-5. This contract position offers the chance to make a real difference in students' communication skills while working alongside a team of dedicated education professionals.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current state licensure for Speech-Language Pathologists or eligibility to obtain before start
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Strong experience with elementary-age children (K-5) in educational settings
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and integrate goals into classroom environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
• Design and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ IEP goals
• Monitor progress and document outcomes in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Conduct screenings and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide guidance and resources to educators and families on supporting communication development
