An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support school-aged students in Atlanta, GA. This travel position allows for professional growth while making a meaningful impact on children's communication development within educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services tailored to students' individual needs.
- Evaluate and assess students' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that align with district and state requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate student records.
- Travel between multiple school locations within the Atlanta area as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have a reliable means of transportation for travel between school sites.
